Easter Cupcakes

Here is a  recipe...I took what I liked and came up with my version of an Easter Basket Cupcake. This is from last year, but I thought I'd share it before Easter so you could get some ideas for your Easter lunch too!
There are so many versions! Check out this link to see all the cuteness! I bought some Peeps this year, so I'm going to add those to my cupcakes for Easter!

Recipe
Yellow cake mix...follow directions on the box.
Cream cheese icing tinted green with food coloring. Ice each cooled cake.
Top with your favorite Easter decorations. I used toasted coconut (tinted in green food coloring) and green sugar sprinkles, Candy eggs, Jelly beans and sour ropes.

I'm linking up with Designs by Gollum for Foodie Friday and Ekat's Kitchen for Friday Potluck
and  Miz Helen's Country Cottage for Full Plate Thursday

These are just adorable. I like the idea of using sour ropes for the handles.

Awe, so cute! I need to get creative in the kitchen now that Easter is coming. You have inspired me to start thinking outside the box. So great!
