Projects

I can't sew to save my life, but I think I'm creative...and can use a glue gun:) I'm going to try to sew (with Ludee's help) some diaper cases to compliment the wipes cases I put together...I stole this idea, so if you steal it too, I'll be flattered:)

Birthday Celebration for Adrian

Today we invited some family and friends who Adrian thinks of as family to our house for lunch. Adrian enjoys 'showing off' for his Ludee, Papa, Aha (Uncle Murphy), Mimi, Da and Auntie Jo...Mommy and Daddy mostly sat back and let Adrian play with all his relatives...

Happy 2nd Birthday sweet Adrian!!!

My first set of Legos!!! Can't wait to build...

It's my birthday, so I can eat the candle too, right???

Wow, my little boy is actually TWO! He is so independent now...loves to do so much on his own, but I'm thankful he is still a sweet, affectionate little boy. Don't grow up too fast, Adrian!

Choo...Choo.... One of Adrian's favorite things is trains.
He loves when Mommy gets stopped in traffic by a train
because that means he can say choo choo and look at a real choo choo for quite a while!
Adrian's Ludee and Papa got him his first train set...he was so happy to play!!!

more Choo Choo fun!

mmmm cake!!! Chocolate Cake!!!

Pictures? I need more cake!

So happy to have my chocolate cake!!!

Sweet, sweet boy and his new big boy play spot

My mom made this flannel quilt for Adrian before he was born...the colors in the trucks and trains go perfectly with the colors of the bins in his new toy shelf...this mommy loves to be organized and her little boy is learning how to 'put it back in the box!!!' He loves that this space is just for him...and I love that things are all in one space!!!

His DJ!!! a favorite toy with buttons and music!

My love for pottery

On display in my Romanian pie rack...

I'll admit it, I'm a pottery junkie...I would rather go shopping for this kind of stuff than just about anything...My church women's ministry had a pottery painting night--such fun, a little overwhelming to sit there with a blank white plate in front of me begging me what to do??? what to do??? If you know me well, you know I am so indecisive...so this was actually quite difficult to start...you have to make a decision and go with it...so I picked up a stencil of swirlies that I liked and tried to mimic it and also tried to remember what most of my Romanian pottery flowers and swirls looked like...It's a first...so I guess it's not so bad for my first try! I want to do it again...soon...any takers for a fun night out for pottery painting???

I think it will make a nice display for breads, cake or cookies!!!
