Andrew is definitely a Moza boy, but he has his own unique look. You can look back at my blog posts from 2007 to see Adrian at 2 weeks...they are definitely brothers, but also have very distinct characteristics.

Two weeks already?!?!?
Mommy can hardly believe that, again, she has a 2 week old baby boy...call me completely biased, but there is just something amazingly sweet about little boys. They love, love, love their mommies and the feeling is quite mutual.

Pumpkin patch with Ludee
I love this season...it's just a happy time of year...the smells and memories of Fall are probably my favorite...I've had two newborns in my arms during this season and now get to watch my toddler figure out what pumpkins are...he threw a couple around the patch, but it seemed like the volunteers were used to little ones messing up their perfect rows of pumpkins!
I love how Adrian has to take it all in before he is sure things are okay...it makes for some very cute expressions on his face. He is so curious and yet very cautious when it comes to how things feel...pumpkins and dry grass are anything but soft!
These two look like they are just about my size...perfect for lunging them across the patch at other unsuspecting pumpkins!

Adrian's day at the park
Since we had Andrew Graham on Friday, Cristian took off Monday and Tuesday also and spent a lot of time with Adrian...giving him some good one on one spoiling and park fun. We are fortunate to live in an area very close to a couple really great parks. Landa Library is minutes from our house. They have a children's library, story time and a beautiful playground. Adrian loves going there, but this was the first time he really wanted to explore the park. Daddy took a LOT of pictures, at Mommy's request:) and here are a few of them...
One of the things I love about my 2 year old is his curiosity and joy of new things discovered. He finds such pleasure in reciting his alphabet, in figuring out puzzles, in building skyscrapers with is legos, and even helping Mommy put shoes back, watch the baby, put toys away etc...I love how these pictures capture his innocent curiosity for new things...slides, tunnels, wooden treelike benches...it just shows me a glimpse of how amazing God is in His creation of us and giving us such intellect...even at 2!
These pictures make my heart smile. I love that Adrian got to share a couple extra days with his Daddy...and I love that he enjoyed so much their time together.

This was the usual outing for Adrian and me...swings, swings and more swings, but my little Adrian is now a big boy...He explored all of Landa Library Park with his daddy two days in a row. It was a huge treat for Adrian to spend so much time with Daddy...all by himself and a huge treat for Mommy to get some well needed sleep!

Andrew Graham Moza is born
Andrew Graham Moza was born October 16, 2009 at 11:45 am.
He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 inches long. The delivery was much easier and much faster than even I expected. My doctor coached me through this labor and with just a few pushes...seriously, he was out.
Mommy's arms...Daddy's arms...

Adrian is opening his big brother present from baby Andrew...not sure what to think of this baby that Mommy brought home!!!
Home from the hospital, ready to meet my big brother...or sleep and then eat a little and then sleep some more...

You must try this recipe...mmm...mmm
This is Paula Deen's recipe for Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Cake. I've seen her make it for a Thanksgiving special on tv. This one is a little different...making individual servings and adding...don't do it...m&ms???? How dare you!!!
I made it in a lasagna pan and it was delicious and did not need any chocolate added to it!!! The crust from the yellow cake mix is so good!

Ingredients
Cake:
- 1 (18 1/4-ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 egg
- 8 tablespoons butter, melted
Filling:
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- Fresh whipped cream, for topping
- Candy for toppings (recommended: M and M's, Reese's pieces, crushed Snickers, Heath bars, mini chocolates, peanuts)
- Special Equipment: 10 (5-inch) removable bottom tart pans
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cake:
Combine the cake mix, egg and butter and mix well with an electric mixer. Divide the mixture into 10-equally sized balls. Flatten each ball with the palm of your hand and gently press into the bottom of each tart pan.
Filling:
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth with an electric mixer. Beat in eggs, vanilla and butter. Add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix well. Spoon a scant 1/2-cup of the pumpkin mixture over cake batter in the tart pans and bake for about 40 minutes. Make sure not to over bake as the center should be a little gooey. Let cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing.
Serve with fresh whipped cream and candy topping.

boys will be boys or 2 year olds will be 2 year olds...you decide!
Why is there a pile of Kleenex on top of the built in, you ask? Mommy bought Kleenex for my runny nose because Ludee always asks where the Kleenex is...I thought it was a new toy, so I pulled almost every single sheet out!
why am I not wearing shirt, you ask? because I decided to get my water pail out while I was brushing my teeth and pour water all over my shirt...and yes, I just got dressed!
and why do I have powder all over me and the floor, you ask? because I was mad when Mommy took my shirt to the dryer, so I got out the powder and remedied my madness!
the kitchen is finished and Andrew Graham is coming
So it's done and everything is back in place...ready for Andrew Graham to come on Friday!
I am very happy with the new look of our kitchen...it makes cooking and cleaning much easier. I had the contractor take off the top curtains and puddy in the holes...I love the look of just the cafe style curtains so you see the beauty of the craftsman's style window frames.
Looking forward to many happy meals and times with family in this space.
