This is a perfect treat for little hands to help out!! I bought a box of the mix at World Market, but gave you links to a recipe and the box mix below. My 4 1/2 year old was thrilled to make hearts. I fried them and then dusted the in cinnamon sugar. What's not to love??
It tastes so much better when YOU make it!!

ReplyDeleteLovely to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays.

I've eaten at Cafe du Monde before (yum!) but never tried to make their beignets.
ReplyDeleteI have a blogging project where I have to make a meal special with decor, so I'm going to be checking out your site for ideas because you always do such cool tables. Wish I had all the fun plates and such that you do - alas, we only have simple white plates! Not sure what I'm going to do, but hopefully I can be creative and come up with something!
Simple white plates can make a beautiful setting. I bet you can find leaves, pinecones and branches and other woodsy things to creat something beautiful. Check out far above rubies and stone gable on my blog list. They both do amazing rustic and natural tables. I wish I had that much nature to 'shop' from!!
DeleteWhat fun! I was at World Market yesterday. I'll have to go back!!!!!!
