Table for Two...two ways!

This morning, I decided to do something fun for my boys...I usually try to arrange a table on Tuesday when Adrian is at school and then take pictures when the lighting is good after he comes home or Wednesday during naps...didn't happen, so I rushed through a couple tablescapes...one for the boys and one for the mommies!
 Large Asiatic Pheasant Dinner plate
Indies Blue Dinner plate
Old British Castles Salad plate
Indies Blue Bread plate
my mom's wedding champagne glass
all rest on top a rattan charger and a Romanian Linen and Lace place mat
  Indies Blue coffee cup
Regency White saucer
mis-matched silver and silver plate all from my mom and grandmother
my mom's wedding crystal

Indies Blue cream and sugar set
Indies Blue Tea pot (thanks, Mom!!!)
Silver plate trivet...I don't know if this was my mom's or grandmother's...I'll ask my mom when she gets back from her trip to Russia. She said she bought me a great find for tablescaping! Can you see my boys in the background?
If I were using this, I'd serve yogurt and berries in the champagne glasses, scones on the bread plates, and a mixed green salad with pears and pecans on the salad plate...but I'm not!

I realized the napkins didn't get set by the time I cleaned up...oh well!
before they sat down....I put the breakfast taco fixings in the pumpkin serving tray. (hobby lobby clearance last year)
sweet little fall plates from Target
all done!
I'm linking up with Susan from BNOTP for Tablescape Thursday

  10. Hi, Meredith! What a cute idea for your kids! If you introduce boys to this kind of thing from an early age, I'm convinced they grow to have a greater appreciation for it all as adults. Your future daughters-in-law will be very appreciative! :-)
