Tablescape Thursday...Valentine's Dinner

I decided to do a little red, pink, gold and ivory for Valentine's Day...
The place mats are vintage linens from my great grandmother. My mom gave them to me when I got married. I used a red glass plate as a charger. The dinner plate is Thomas of Bavaria (ebay) and the salad plate is Thomas of Bavaria (my mom gave me these from my grandmother)
The centerpiece is handmade Romanian lace (macrame) from my mother in law. It was my wedding present!

My great grandmother's crystal salt and pepper shakers

The water goblets were my mom's from her wedding registry and the wine goblets were from Marshall's years ago.  I have no idea what the name of these are. The goblets from Marshall's were made in Romania.

The candles are lit...
the rest of my great grandmother's crystal condiment set...the tray for it is horribly tarnished, so I'll take care of it and photograph it another day. This is a silver plate tray that I think belonged to my grandmother.

My mom also gave me this crystal decanter. I think it belonged to her mother.

Aren't vintage family treasures just always the best! You have such beautiful jewels from your mom and grandmoms. Don't you think of each of them each time that you place one of their special pieces on your tables. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay
