In our house, Monday morning has become groceries and Swim lessons...
Adrian's lessons moved to Mondays because he has school Tuesdays and Thursdays. I made these this morning, after a run to HEB and before we ran out the door to Swim. (It's an indoor heated pool and Adrian LOVES it!) He got to ring the bell today because he accomplished his last task of frontward floating. We're going out for Orange Leaf. Both boys accomplished something this week. Andrew obeyed and napped at Kid's Day Out both days last week and Adrian completed Preschool Level 2 in Swim.
Both boys devoured almost everything after Swim (and then napped for almost 3 hours!!!), and Adrian asked if I would put his spider and ghost in his lunch tomorrow.
This didn't take long. I made one PB & Fig Jam sandwich into two bats. It's a sandwich cutter from my HEB, rolled a couple pieces of salami and stuck a jack-o-lanternin it, (also from HEB bakery), opened Halloween fruit snacks into a spider cup and stuck a ghost/spider in it (a friend gave me these picks), added grapes for Adrian, carrots for Andrew, strawberry apple sauce and cute Target Halloween spoons (couple years ago), grabbed a handful of Simply 7 Bruschetta chips, and cut out Halloween shapes in Colby Jack Cheese.
There is a Sonic, McDonald's, Whataburger and Wendy's on my way to Swim. This prep keeps me from going through the fast food line.
Love it all! So colourful and creative! :)
