Halloween Muffin Tin and Giveaway Link!!!

I've been so busy with school outings, church festivals and soon to be Halloween parties, so this MTM is from last year.

Last week, the boys took these to school!

Pumpkin Patch Bynto

Yesterday, I got to go on Adrian's field trip to the Pumpkin Patch and Park. I packed two crescent moon sandwiches, leftover from Andrew's Rocket party. I added some cheesey bats and a moon, a pumpkin muffin adorned with a jack-o-lantern candy, apples, Halloween shaped fruit snacks with a jack-o-lantern pick and crackers. It was a beautiful day to be outside!!

Happy Birthday Andrew!!!

 Happy Birthday, sweet Boy!!!
Andrew wanted a rocket cake, so I looked on Pinterest and found something like this. He (and big brother) LOVED it!!!
We had family over for dinner Saturday night. I painted these chargers with chalkboard paint and my mom helped me make the runner. We sewed napkins out of the rocket material too. The centerpiece was a bowl filled with take home goodie bags...white chocolate chex mix!  Goldfish makes a space version with planets, moons, goldfish and rockets.

Harvest Muffin Tin Monday

Both boys had peanut butter and homemade fig jam acorns...since Adrian can't have peanut butter at school, I usually have it at home. They also had colby jack cheese with an acorn pick (from Party City a couple years ago), Simply 7 chips, planet chex mix from Andrew's Rocket birthday party, and apple / strawberry sauce with fall sprinkles, and craisins for Andrew and salami for Adrian.

Happy Muffin Tin Monday!

Just a preview...a 3rd Birthday!!!

Next Tuesday, my baby turns 3!!! I can't believe it. We are celebrating this weekend, rocket style!
My mom made this amazing runner with some material I found for making napkins. All I did was finish the hem around the border...
I have a stack of old acrylic chargers, so I painted them with chalkboard paint. I think I'm going to enjoy the possibilities with these.
I used melamine plates from Target, same as Adrian's birthday and mason jars lined with rocket cupcake liners and a straw. The centerpiece will be the cake, but I'll take those pictures Saturday. Enjoy the preview...Andrew did!!!

Pumpkin Banana Muffins & a Spooky Bynto

I use this recipe. It makes 4 dozen minis and 1 large loaf of bread!
I add 3 bananas and only 1/3 cup of water. I sprinkle the top with cinnamon sugar before I bake it. I got these cute paper cups last year after Halloween, probably 25cents for 100!
Adrian had a pumpkin muffin, crackers with Halloween cheese shapes and salami, grapes and Halloween fruit snacks, strawberry apple sauce and Simply 7 Bruschetta chips.
My little boy is getting glasses. We went to the eye specialist yesterday. No patch yet. We go back in 2 months.

Spooky Muffin Tin Monday

In our house, Monday morning has become groceries and Swim lessons...
Adrian's lessons moved to Mondays because he has school Tuesdays and Thursdays. I made these this morning, after a run to HEB and before we ran out the door to Swim. (It's an indoor heated pool and Adrian LOVES it!) He got to ring the bell today because he accomplished his last task of frontward floating. We're going out for Orange Leaf. Both boys accomplished something this week. Andrew obeyed and napped at Kid's Day Out both days last week and Adrian completed Preschool Level 2 in Swim.
Both boys devoured almost everything after Swim (and then napped for almost 3 hours!!!), and Adrian asked if I would put his spider and ghost in his lunch tomorrow.
This didn't take long. I made one PB & Fig Jam sandwich into two bats. It's a sandwich cutter from my HEB, rolled a couple pieces of salami and stuck a jack-o-lanternin it, (also from HEB bakery), opened Halloween fruit snacks into a spider cup and stuck a ghost/spider in it (a friend gave me these picks), added grapes for Adrian, carrots for Andrew, strawberry apple sauce and cute Target Halloween spoons (couple years ago), grabbed a handful of Simply 7 Bruschetta chips, and cut out Halloween shapes in Colby Jack Cheese.
There is a Sonic, McDonald's, Whataburger and Wendy's on my way to Swim. This prep keeps me from going through the fast food line.

Boo! Halloween Bentos have begun!

I mentioned this on Facebook earlier, if you want cute Halloween picks, go to your grocery bakery and ask if they sell the ones they use to decorate cupcakes. I got a dozen for $1! I bought 4 pumpkins, 4 ghosts and 4 Happy Halloween, so everything I need and only $1 spent:)
The boys have cream cheese and jam sandwiches, ghost for one and pumpkins for the other, Simply 7 pomegranate and lentil chips, cheese bits and carrots, apples, apple sauce and marshmallows with a cute pumpkin candy on top!
