Cristian and I decided that I would not go back to full time teaching after Adrian was born. I taught for 2 years in San Antonio, then 3 years in Romania, where I met my husband, and then after we got married and moved back to San Antonio, I taught for 4 more years. It was time for a change. My full time job now consists of everything Adrian. I spend just about every waking and sleeping hour with him and I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing!! He is growing so much. These pictures are from the day he was born, in and out of the womb and from every week since then. I can't believe how little he was and how big he is now. What a wonder. The day he was born, minutes after, I told my OB...I just don't understand how people can think this is NOT a miracle. What an amazing even childbirth is. It's just the beginning of a new gift you get to unwrap every single day. Every day there is something new, something exciting, something changing...and every day there is nothing that should be taken for granted. What a privilege I have to spend every moment with him...how blessed am I!!!
There are few things I love better in life right now that hanging out with my little boy. We play, we laugh, we eat, we sleep, we dance, we sing, we read...what else can there be? Adrian is a joy! A precious gift that only God could give me. Laughing or crying, eating or sleeping, playing or sitting quietly, he is my little boy and I cherish every moment I get to spend with him.

Meredith, you have sure gotten the hang of the blogging thing! I love catching up with you like this. That pair of photos in the nursery pre and post-birth are precious! I always marveled, holding my babies, that they had actually fit inside of me, all curled up tight. No wonder they kicked around so much!
